The Gypsy Horse, also known as the Gypsy Vanner (US, CAN) and Gypsy Cob (UK, NZ) originally came from England and Ireland. This breed was started by Roman gypsies to pull their carts. The first registered horse in the US only dates back to 1996, writes Julia Y at Superstar Lifestyle. These striking horses are muscular and has beautiful silky hair. The long hair below their knees is called “feathering”. These beauties are characterized as strong, kind, and very intelligent.
