Jessica Springsteen didn’t make the Olympics in 2012 but she’s already preparing for 2016, reports USA Today.
The 20-year-old daughter of music superstar Bruce Springsteen has purchased showjumper Vindicat W.
The horse was owned by Great Britain’s Peter Charles who won a gold medal in London with him.
No stone pony, Vindicat W is a 10-year-old gelding.
Charles said on Facebook that “Vinnie” was one of his favorite horses and that “the decision to move him on has not come lightly….”He produced an outstanding performance to secure Team Gold for Britain for the first time in 60 years, and I will never forget how that felt and how unbelievably proud he made me and my team feel.”
Jessica Springsteen was an alternate for the 2012 Olympics.
